Stage 5 Clinger helps bond polish to nails for a longer lasting manicure. It is a  neutral shade to prevent color choice from "looking different" and has slight ridge filling properties. 

note - nails must still be prepped properly in order for polish to adhere. Not all base coats work for all nail types. Wrap tips of nails to prevent water from seeping between layers.
